Thomas has 25+ years in the telecoms industry in leadership positions (line, project, and product) related to radio access networks (RAN), from vendor and operator perspectives.

He has a wide experience from the radio area, with exposure to both network strategy and implementation, combining the technical and business aspects of the industry. In this context, issues like spectrum efficiency, energy efficiency and opex are his specialties.

His main focus is on the emergence of super-efficient combined 2-4G networks, catering for traditional voice, mobile broadband and IoT. Thomas has a unique insight in the technological advancements in the industry and how these in reality are likely to impact the future of networks (including 5G) and the eco-system in general.
